We took out Mercy's hair to give her head a rest.  I'd like to leave it natural like this, but Nigerians think it's really weird to leave little girls hair undone, so we'll be getting it braided this afternoon.  In the US I plan to make it as big of a fro as I can!

 

She finds my hair fascinating, so we spend a lot of time with her feeling my hair while I hold her. 

 

I thought this picture was funny because we both have the same expressions on our face.

 

I was trying to get a picture of Mercy in this cute outfit, but she really likes to see the camera, so trying to make her stay in one place long enough to actually snap the picture is a bit of a challenge.  This is the stillest she was during the few minutes we tried to take the picture.
